Colection title: Sensory Introspection
Cluj Napoca, 2005
The inspiration from this series of works comes from a meditative practice which uses perception as a means to access body and mind experiencing. It draws the practitioner's attention to a panoramic view that develops openness to the present moment as well as to a different interpretation of reality.
The result is a work of art with reference to form, color, line, texture, pattern, composition and process, that is open to interpretation for the viewer. It requires you to have an unlocked, inquiring mind; you must enter the painting and see where it takes you. It gives you the freedom to explore the artwork and assign your own meaning to the piece. This intensely personal process enriches a viewer's experience of an artwork.
